The Kwinana Outfall Project showcases Smithbridge's expertise in outfall construction. Smithbridge completed the $10 million job in 2007.

Smithbridge were engaged as Main Contractor for the installation of a 1.8m ID concrete outfall pipeline extending 320m into Cockburn Sound, near Perth. Construction was facilitated by first installing a 10m wide temporary bridge as a work platform along the full length of the pipeline. Two sheet pile cofferdams 40m long each were installed and relocated progressively as the pipe was laid and included a total wall length of 640m.
