2009 Guam Contractor’s Association and Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. in Award Category:  Industrial – less than $5m for the Cargoline Repair and Replacement

2001 Institution of Professional Engineers NZ (IPENZ) and BP Oil NZ Ltd, presented McConnell Smith with the Environmental Award for the Otira Viaduct.

2000 Caltex Construction Awards presented McConnell Smith with a Merit Award in Category A for the Construction and relocation of Petroleum Storage Tanks from Whangarei to Tauranga for Gull Oil.

1999 Caltex Construction Awards Category A was presented to McConnell Smith for the Otira Viaduct.
